Universal Expo Osaka 2025

In the Osaka Universal Expo 2025, each country has a pavilion to show its art, traditions, cuisine and vision of the future. El Polish Pavilion presented “Plantation of Ideas”, an installation that combines design, technology and sustainability to showcase six key sectors of its economy: agri-food, cosmetics, pharmacy and medicine, green technologies, IT and gaming. El General Contractor relied on Prototípale to manufacture and implement the entire “Plantation of Ideas” set according to the official briefing, turning a creative concept into a real installation ready to receive millions of visitors.

The challenge

The project required producing and assembling more than a hundred elements with the highest aesthetic quality, respecting a color code for each sector and guaranteeing durability during the six months of the Expo.

Manufacturing in Spain, safe packaging for international transport and assembly in Japan had to be coordinated, meeting tight deadlines before the official inauguration.

The Solution

At Prototípalo we take care of all the scenographic equipment. Among the manufactured elements, the following stand out:

60 cm spheres with integrated monitor to play audiovisual content from each sector.
Uniform spheres of 40 and 50 cm as decorative background elements.
40 cm display spheres composed of half a 3D printed sphere and half of transparent methacrylate, to show real products inside.
Diorama spheres with motorized swivel base, which made it possible to display moving pieces silently and safely.
Integrated LED lighting systems and high-quality finishes in the official colors of each thematic area.
Almost a hundred programmable RGB lamps to adapt to the colors required by the customer.

The work included large format 3D printing, precision assemblies and modular solutions to facilitate transport, installation and maintenance.

The result

The final assembly met the aesthetic and technical specifications, and was received with great satisfaction by the Polish Pavilion team and by Plantation Ideas.

The installation not only fulfills its exhibition function, but also generates a strong visual impact, attracting the attention of visitors and facilitating the understanding of the messages of each sector.

Today, “Plantation of Ideas” is one of the most photographed and commented spaces in the Pavilion, consolidating the image of Poland as an innovative country open to the world.
